If you need the resources of dedicated servers, your own network equipment or security appliances, but don't have a trained administrator at hand, we can help!
Via your UK project manager, we provide you with access to cost-effective expert skills at an hourly flat rate. Our advanced management support service significantly lowers your overheads for routine administrative tasks, software troubleshooting, disaster recovery plans, scalability consultation and implementing network security, amongst other tasks.
Our standard support services are available 24/7, with advanced management available during office hours and with emergency on-call procedures in place.
We offer access to a diverse set of skills which include most areas of network engineering, server management and, unlike our competitors, application programming/scripting and database consultancy. We provide access to staff with industry recognised certifications including:
We routinely manage operating systems including Windows Server and Remote Desktop Services (formerly Terminal Services), Linux distributions including Debian/Ubuntu and RedHat/CentOS, as well as scripting custom backup services, installing new applications, applying security updates and configuring users, groups and permissions. We can provide and/or manage network security appliances including switches, firewalls and VPN endpoints.
If our remote hands and/or management services are key to supporting your business, you can contract the hours you're likely to require each month, rather than using them on the "as required" basis provided as standard. Then, whenever you report an incident or request work done, you'll receive prioritisation over "ad-hoc" support requests for the duration of the contracted hours. At busy times, priority response is invaluable when you need express resolution of any issues. Priority support contracts also provide an SLA on response time and a guaranteed escalation procedure.
