Over resilient 10Gbps dark fibre, we provide the full range of port speeds (10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1Gbps) and, unlike other providers, offer the option at most sites to utilise arbitrary intermediate rates so you only pay for what you really need.
Whether you are looking to establish off-site disaster recovery, securely connect to your existing equipment in different data centres or connect to a third party provider at another site, our interconnects are the perfect solution!
Typical Pricing
We can provide interconnects to any of our on-net 21 near-London data centres. Some of these sites (shown with * in the list) incur additional charges on third party fibre routes. Please contact us for a quote at these sites. At all other sites we operate the following standard tariffs:
- 10Mbps: £50/month per port
- 100Mbps: £75/month per port
- 1Gbps: £175/month per port
A minimum of two ports are required for each interconnect. These prices do not include charges for intra-site cross-connect cabling required to connect your rack cabinet to a switch on the dark fibre network. Pricing above is for non-trunking links over a resilient dark fibre ring; if you require QinQ VLAN trunking over the interconnect between sites, please contact us for a quotation.
Existing customers can make significant savings on the above when extending their VLANs across our colocation data centres or between dedicated servers in multiple sites. For sites on the core 10Gbps dark fibre ring, the following rates are guidelines for existing colocation and server clients, per VLAN extension based on amount of inter-site bandwidth required (rather than port speed):
- 10-25Mbps from £4/Mbps/month
- 25-50Mbps from £3/Mbps/month
- 50-100Mbps from £2/Mbps/month
- 100-1000Mbps from £0.50/Mbps/month
