How it Works
- Dedicated hardware: We provision hardware for your backup solution in one or more of our secure data centres. As the hardware is dedicated to you, there is no risk of corruption or theft from other users on the same machine.
- Secure connectivity: If you are an existing client, we can extend your own VLAN across to the other site (via an interconnect), providing you alone with secure access to your backup device(s). For external clients we add a firewall and VPN terminator in front of your backup device, allowing you to connect securely via the Internet.
- Choice of protocol: We can configure your backup device for FTP (insecure), SCP/SFTP (secure), NFS (Linux), CIFS (Windows) or iSCSI, so our solutions are totally flexible regardless of how you want to use them!
- Technical support: We'll assist you getting started and then if you have any problems with the backup service later, we'll help you resolve them any time of day or night with our 24/7 support.
